DESCRIPTION:MEMBERS ONLY \nThe Management Committee for the South Australian German Association Inc. has decided to call a Special General Meeting for existing paid up members only\, at which we hope that most of you will attend.  It will be held at the Clubrooms on Saturday\, 21st February\, beginning at 2.00 pm. \nThis Special General Meeting will be held at the German Club (41 Airport Road Brooklyn Park SA 5032) on Saturday\, 21st February 2026 beginning at 2:00 pm (doors open at 1:30pm). \nBecause it is a Special General Meeting\, the law does not allow any other Club business to be raised or discussed at all.  Therefore\, this may mean that the Meeting will be short. \nFollowing the Meeting\, coffee and cake will be available for a gold coin donation and the bar will be open where drinks can be purchased. \nPlease note that you must be an active (paid) member to be able to attend this meeting. We will not be able to accept membership payments on the day. \nAs not all members have an email address\, kindly pass on the details of this notification to those who are active but may be without an email. \nPlease contact the office if you need more information under office@thegermanclub.org.au or ring us under (08) 8223 2539 and will get back to you as soon as possible.

DESCRIPTION:MEMBERS ONLY- Find out what’s been happening at your German Club. Learn more about the Club’s progress this year\, upcoming activities and events and also the nomination of the next Executive Committee. Committee members ensure the smooth\, efficient and effective running of the club for the sake of all members. All current members are eligible to apply for a position on the Committee. We are presently particularly seeking people with IT\, marketing\, finance\, business or administrative skills. Alternatively\, as an ordinary member\, you may wish to help out at the club in another way such as at events\, IT and marketing or even mowing the lawn once a month! Many hands make light work and there’s always a friendly and fun atmosphere at the German Club!
