For over 125 years SAGA, the South Australian German Association Inc. (or The German Club), promotes and fosters German culture, language, habits and social life in Australia.

As the peak body of the various German community clubs, we provide support and services to those clubs and their members and represent one of the largest ethic groups in South Australia.

The clubhouse of SAGA is used as a location for functions by our members and guests, meetings and rehearsals by member groups and to host community functions such as the Schnitzelabend (Schnitzel nights), Sunday brunches/Frühschoppen and community culture festivals such as the Adelaide German Christmas Market (Weihnachtsmark) and the famous Adelaide Oktoberfest.
